Mick's Mannered Mutt's Operation Policies

Vaccination Records:
Vaccination records are required for all dogs. Your dog needs to be up-to-date on the following vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper.

General Policy 1:
Mick’s Mannered Mutts will do its best to create as safe an environment as possible for the training and boarding care of the dog(s) (the “Dog”), and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training, care, and post-board and train instructions. Owner agrees, however, that all animals may exhibit unpredictable behaviors and that Mick’s Mannered Mutts will not be liable for the actions of the Dog that are outside of the control of Mick’s Mannered Mutts. Owner agrees that the recommendation by Mick’s Mannered Mutts of any product or service is not a guarantee of performance or Owner’s satisfaction with that product or service.

General Policy 2:
Mick’s Mannered Mutts agrees to indemnify and hold Owner harmless from and against any claims of injury, expense, costs, loss or damages caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Mick's Mannered Mutts while the Dog is in the sole custody, care and control of Mick’s Mannered Mutts. Owner acknowledges that Mick’s Mannered Mutts has no control over the Dog when the Dog is not in the exclusive custody, care and control of Mick’s Mannered Mutts, and Owner agrees to indemnify and hold Mick’s Mannered Mutts harmless from and against any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, loss or damages caused by the actions of the Dog when the Dog is not the sole custody, care and control of Mick's Mannered Mutts.

General Policy 3:
Owner acknowledges and agrees that owning any animal, including the Dog, has inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to Owner. Owner fully understands the tools and techniques that are used to train and modify the behavior of their dog and agrees to the tools and techniques which can include some or all of the following: Prong Collar, Remote Training Collar, Slip Lead, Muzzles, Flat Buckle collar, Martingale collar.

Payment Agreement:
Full payment is due 24 hours before your training session at the latest.  

Cancellation Policy:
While I understand things happen, I ask that sessions be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours before the appointment time when possible. There is a $40 no show fee.

Physical Activity Agreement:
Your dog spends a good amount of time in the outside world doing lots of things around lots of natural objects, dirt, grass, cement, trees, fencing, bushes, interacting with other dogs, and humans. It is possible that your dog is going to get scratched, bumped, or bruised. As Owner, you acknowledge and understand that there are certain risks involved in pet training, boarding,
and care. You release, indemnify, and agree to hold Mick’s Mannered Mutts harmless from any and all manner of damages, claims, loss, liabilities, costs or expenses, causes of actions or suits, whatsoever in law or equity, (including, without limitation, attorney’s fees and related costs) arising out of or related to the services provided by Mick’s Mannered Mutts.

Photo/Video Release:
I hereby assign and grant to Mick's Mannered Mutts the right and permission to use, reproduce, distribute, and publish the photograph(s), film(s), videotape(s), audio and video recording(s),electronic representation(s) and/or sound recording(s) made of me and/or my dog(s) at any time during the training of my dog(s) by Mick’s Mannered Mutts, and I hereby release Mick’s Mannered Mutts from any and all liability resulting from such use, reproduction, distribution, and publication. I hereby authorize the reproduction, sale, distribution, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, and/or electronic storage of any and all such photograph(s), film(s), videotape(s),audio and video recording(s), electronic representation(s) and/or sound recording(s) without limitation at the discretion of Mick’s Mannered Mutts and I specifically waive any right to any compensation I may have for any of the foregoing.
